I'm just wanting to see what these look like on the internet.
One will represent me for the Introduction to woodblock printmaking.
Possibly this first one.

FALL ART TOUR !

The Cedarburg Art Museum now has a small selection of the small whiteline prints.

 
This year, I'm Artist # 21 on the FALL ART TOUR.

Since 27 of my works are in the 
Cedarburg Art Museum 
until November 8th when the show closes,
I printed little bits of the more detailed blocks
just for this weekend.

Twenty-nine of my pieces are on exhibition 

with the spectacular works of S.V. Medaris and Ray Gloeckler.

It's a good, strong show.

Twenty-five miles north of Milwaukee, it's well worth a visit.

The show will be up through November 8th.

I am Artist #21 on the Fall Art Tour 
which is October 16, 17, 18.
I didn't have time to make more than one print of most of the newest 
whiteline woodblocks,
but I will have the blocks themselves on display.

Cedarburg Art Museum: Art of the Relief Print

My prints, along with prints of Ray Gloeckler and S.V.Medaris

will be in the Cedarburg Art Museum exhibit,

Art of the Relief Print 

The opening reception is September 12th, 2015

7pm to 9pm

In the exhibit will be four new prints
which have been in my print drawers, lying in wait for this show.

Earlier that day starting at 10AM,
I will be holding a 
three hour hands-on/demonstration/workshop about whiteline woodblock printmaking.

Lone Rock Airport

Here is the fourth new print for the Cedarburg Art Museum show. 

It measures about 9" x 24".
Photographed on the block so it's not square.

It's done. 

I'll take it off the block today.

It needs to be flattened and photographed.

This one will be in the Cedarburg Art Museum show.

Completed and just removed from the block. 

It does need to be flattened.

Hotel Room

This first one, is print #2, off the "hotel room" block.

13.75" x 21" is just off the block

and needs flattening,

and a good photograph.

Below is another hotel room.

Print 1 and 2 from a 4"x6" block of last years hotel room 

when teaching at the Peninsula School of Art.

It's a cell phone photo, 
so color's off.
Right off the block, it no longer feels like paper, 

but a well slept in bed sheet.
It will look really good once it's flattened.

I have begun another print.

I will be splitting my time between this,

going to school to learn the lost wax casting process,

and making a road map for an island of businesses which are the 

heart of Cross Plains, Wisconsin.

I'd like to get the map done by Trout Days.

 So, it begins!

This time I'm using Shina Plywood,

because I've not used it in a very long time,

and I happened to have a nice big sheet here.
